TapRoom de Ericeira: 5 e Meio
Ericeira has the first taproom of the craft and local brewery “5 e Meio”. Born from the enthusiasm of friends in 2013, the brewery collects several awards from international competitions such as the London Beer Competition, Ibeerian Awards and USA Beer Rating.
At TapRoom there are 8 taps with beers of different types and flavors that change according to seasonality and the launch of new creations, each with its uniqueness. It is also possible to enjoy bottle-aged beer, which many love.
In addition to the beers, TapRoom 5 e Meio also has several dishes and snacks to be consumed with the beers, intensifying the flavors of the Mafra region. And for those who don't drink beer, there is a selection of wines available.

Surf Film Festival in Ericeira
The long-awaited “Portuguese Surf Film Festival” in Ericeira already has the date confirmed for its 11th edition at the end of July 2022.
In 2021, in its 10th edition, it featured 32 films shown over 10 days, highlighting its main stage in Parque Santa Maria, in the heart of Ericeira.
The event had eight categories of winners, along with seven international and two European premieres.
Challenger Series Championship in Ericeira
Ericeira, precisely the beautiful waves of Ribeira D'Ilhas, will once again host a stage of the WSL Challenger Series. The event will take place from October 1 to 9, 2022 and will bring great news.
One is that the men and women will be on the same calendar for the first time, and that there will be a big cut during the season. After five rounds, the Men's Championship Tour will reduce from 36 to 24, and the Women's Championship Tour from 18 to 12.
Those eliminated from the Championship Tour will have to compete in the Challenger Series, with a new division and eight stages. Across the competition, there will be 96 men and 64 women, who have qualified in their respective regions around the world.
The athlete who competes in the Challenger Series this year will compete in the Championship Tour next year. In the end, the top 10 men and the top 5 women will be ranked.
Vans Duct Tape Event in Ericeira (2019)
The first Vans Duct Tape festival took place in 2017, aiming to bring together people from around the world inspired by Surf to celebrate the creativity and progression of the culture of this maritime lifestyle.
In 2019, the Vans Duct Tape event took place in Ericeira, on Ribeira D'Ilhas beach, between May 16 and 19, with the presentation of Joel Tudor, the two-time longboard world champion.
This event brought together a group of several surf professionals, such as shapers, surfers and artists, who must interact with the public in Ericeira in a collaborative way.
In this debut, the event brought top male and female longboarders to compete in Europe for the first time. The women's competition featured several talents such as Honolua Blomfield and Victoria Vergara.
Vans Duct Tape presented beautiful handmade surfboards, live music, surf sessions, film sessions and art and photography exhibitions, events organized by the population of Ericeira.
The event featured a long musical program during its three days of festival. Skateboarding legend John Cardiel also gave a wonderful performance, as did bands that took care of the live music on the night, such as Kepa, Sun Flowers, Sunfoot, among others.
